Group Classes

Puppy K (group class)
New puppies need constant supervision, careful management and daily socialization before they are 4 months old in order to become confident, friendly adult canine companions.
Open Enrollment Puppy K (no more waiting for the next class to start!) is a 6 week program designed to mold a puppy who can handle many of life’s daily challenges – greets guests politely, doesn’t chew the furniture, settles calmly and walks nicely on a leash. Your puppy will also get much needed socialization opportunities with other people and puppies. The class is fast paced, and mostly off leash. For puppies between 8 and 14 weeks of age at start of class. Cost $100.00

Good Manners I
A beginning class for socialized adolescent and adults dogs with little or no prior training. Create a dog who pays attention, greets guests nicely, walks nicely on leash, comes when you call and is a joy to be with. We’ll even learn a trick or two. Class is for dogs 16 weeks or older. Six weeks. Cost $100.00
Specialty Classes
Choose from a variety of short courses to enhance your dog’s training.
All classes require completion of Good Manners I classes, PAL program , or instructor permission.

Out on the Town– An intermediate level class. Practice your dog’s skills in a variety of locations in the area.
Walk This Way – Improve leash manners. (not for leash reactive dogs)
Total Recall – Build more reliable recalls.

Rally Obedience Level 1
Rally classes can be a rewarding way to strengthen practical obedience skills used in everyday life, or they can prepare you for future competition in Rally, obedience and agility. Whether or not you choose to compete, the skills learned in class will give you more control everywhere you take your dog. TBD
PAL Program
With our innovative Play and Learn (PAL) program we do the training and you enjoy the benefits of a well behaved dog.
We’ll customize a program to fit your needs. From good manners to problem behaviors, you’ll have a better behaved companion, saving you weeks or months of work. Your dog spends the day at Waggin’ Tails Ranch, enjoys exercise, and structured training by certified trainer Lori Morrison and her staff. Once trained, we teach you how to maintain the behaviors with simple techniques that fit your busy lifestyle.
In addition to teaching everyday behaviors, the PAL program can improve a variety of behavior problems, including: Barking, Handling, Stranger Fears, Dog Aggression and Separation Anxiety. Call us to learn more about how PAL can fit your needs 509-607-9722.
